Martor Secunorm 540 has an impressive cutting depth of 36mm and is specified for cutting really thick materials.

The safety knife has a long stable blade which is good when cutting thick materials or if you need a blade with flex. As soon as you have started to cut, take your thumb off the slider. Then the blade will retract into the handle immediately after leaving the material being cut.
